FRAMELIGHT

Provides the ability to shoot video and stills simultaneously using synchronized lighting.

-Reduce equipment and time required to capture video and stills of the same content.
-Adding a stills photographer using strobe to a video / film set or vice versa.
-High speed video and high resolution stills simultaneously.
-Behind the scenes capture not impacting main shoot.

We offer two solutions:

  • (A) Two cameras simultaneously. One camera for stills + one camera for motion.
Stills (with strobe/flash) and video cameras are synchronized through our system so that strobe from the stills camera does not appear in the video footage.

  • (B) One camera for stills + video.
Each frame shot by a motion camera is lit with short duration strobe. (For example, shooting with a Red Weapon 8k, each 35 megapixel frame is sharp and perfectly exposed for pulling stills)

EXAMPLE A : TWO CAMERAS - ONE FOR STILLS AND ANOTHER FOR VIDEO
Video and stills cameras are synchronized to shoot simultaneously, while lighting for one does not impact the other.

EXAMPLE B : ONE CAMERA FOR STILLS AND VIDEO
Each frame shot by a motion camera is lit with short duration strobe. (For example, shooting with a Red 8k Weapon, each 35 megapixel frame is sharp and perfectly exposed for pulling stills)
